Bed Bugs Found: Trenton, New Jersey
Employees at the State Department of Labor and Workforce Development are complaining that they are seeing bed bug ingesting the office building that they work in. Officials are saying something different, that there has only bee one dead bed bug round in the office building.
The bug was handed over to the Department of Health to investigate and determine the exact species of the insect.
Employees are saying something different though, there there is an infestation in the building. There are over 3500 people that work in the building, making it a great place for the bed bug to infest as there are a lot of ‘blood meals’ available. Workers stated that there have been bed bugs seen on the 13th floor and are worried that they will migrate and infest other floors soon if nothing is done about them. There are also fears that the bed bugs will hitch a ride to employee homes.
Management has contacted a bed bug exterminator to deal with the issue. The exterminator has inspected the building and has located a few bugs. They are now formulating a plan to treat the building to make sure that this doesn’t turn into a huge infestation.
